Egg Fried Rice
Egg fried rice is a flavorful, healthy and satisfying dish that combines rice, scrambled eggs, and a medley of vegetables.
Ingredients
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 cup vegetable (peas, corn etc.)
- 1/2 tsp spices (black pepper, hot pepper etc.)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Heat oil in a medium sauce pan over medium heat.
- Sauté onions and vegetables in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add rice with water, soy sauce, and salt to a boil.
- Pour in beaten egg into a medium skillet and fry for 3 minutes, scrambling egg while it cooks.
- Add cooked rice to egg mixture; mix well. Season with spices.
