Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup vegetable (peas, corn etc.)
  • 1/2 tsp spices (black pepper, hot pepper etc.)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a medium sauce pan over medium heat.
  • Sauté onions and vegetables in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes. 
  • Add rice with water, soy sauce, and salt to a boil. 
  • Pour in beaten egg into a medium skillet and fry for 3 minutes, scrambling egg while it cooks.
  • Add cooked rice to egg mixture; mix well. Season with spices.
